There has always been something special about a party dress, it starts when you are a child and never leaves you. If you are lucky enough to be invited to a traditional cocktail party dresses are usually around knee length although midi and mini are acceptable. Your dress should not be too revealing whilst accessories should be complimentary to your dress and not overshadow it.

Long evening gowns are usually the norm when it comes to black tie events. Black and white are safe colour choices plus they look ultra chic. Make a statement with accessories like fabulous ear rings or a sparkly clutch and sandals. Finish your look with a coordinating wrap or shrug.
